3d printing workflow/ FAQ:

Order Submission

-Submit a design or file to get a quote within 24 hrs during any business day

-If a specific material is required or specific capability is needed out of the design provide it in the quote request.

-Payment will not be requested until a design is made and or counseling has been provided.

Manual Review

-Any and all files will be reviewed prior to being approved for production, please provide purpose or printing position if necessary

-We cannot verify fit if it is an STL or OBJ, all we can verify is print-ability, please make sure your part is scaled appropriately prior to submission.
Models are only reviewed for manufacturability and not for fit, function, or design verification.

-Engineering and CAD services can be provided upon request and are charged separately to 3d printing or machining.

Payment / Purchase Order

-Orders under $1000 require payment upfront.

-Orders over $1,000 can be paid via NET10 terms with a purchase order.

– After manual order review, you will receive an invoice to confirm the order and submit payment via credit card, or optionally with a purchase order if the order threshold meets the above requirement.

Production will only start once payment has been made.

Order Scheduling

-An estimated order completion date is scheduled based on the date and time that payment is received. order is able to be expedited for a percent based cost.

-All production is scheduled based on numerous factors and every order is produced as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality.

Production

-3D printing is a very technical process with multiple factors and stages of completion, issues may occur, we provide deadlines based on some leeway for completion but unexpected failures may happen.

-Changes to the orders once production has started will be able to be made for additional fees and will cause delays depending on stage of production.

Post Processing

-All parts are cleaned and post processed

-Some surface finish options such as sanding, coatings, and vapor smoothing may require additional lead time.

Quality Control

-All parts are carefully inspected prior to packaging using common industry tools to assure accuracy and finish.

-all features are measured to these standards based on the technology being used to manufacture the part.

-FDM: ± 0.2% with a lower limit of ± 0.15 mm (± 0.010″)

-SLA: ± 0.25% with a lower limit of ± 0.05 mm (± 0.003″)

-SLS: ± 0.3% with a lower limit of ± 0.2 mm (± 0.09″)

-Let me know if your application requires higher tolerances or other features.
-dimensional drawings (blueprints) may be requested for an additional cost.

Shipping / Delivery

-USPS and UPS are our primary shipping service providers depending on location.

-Shipments are dropped off around 5pm Monday through Friday.

-Saturday shipments can be arranged or overnight services upon request.

-Local meet up to pickup is available upon request during our normal business hours.
